Slicing STL files with ideaMaker

- Please download OWLplane 3D Printing User Guide to read about the scenarios.
- You need to make sure that the Profile and STL file name Ref. Code does match.
- A group of STL files can be selected and sliced into a group of objects if all of them having the same Ref. Code.

Slicing STL files with Cura

- Please download OWLplane 3D Printing User Guide to read about the scenarios.
- You need to make sure that the Profile and STL file name Ref. Code does match.
- A group of STL files can be selected and sliced into a group of objects if all of them having the same Ref. Code.
- Special note for Cura slicer, the Profile files are in the form of Project files. When open the file, please check open as Project file instead. Exceptional for "Digital Balsa and Foam" series Models, there is no need anymore to have STL modifier files to set layer settings. In this case, the slicer Profile files are saved in the form of Cura Profile files.
“Special Note : It does not apply for “Digital Balsa and Foam” series Models for using STL modifiers. Normal Profile files are used for “Digital Balsa and Foam” series Models (without STL modifiers).

Slicing STL files with S3D

- S3D slice is not supported anymore for "Digital Balsa and Foam" series Models due to no gyroid type pattern option available.
- Please download User Guide Printing OWLplane Model Manual to read about the scenarios.
- You need to make sure that the Profile and STL file name Ref. Code does match.
- A group of STL files can be selected and sliced into a group of objects if all of them having the same Ref. Code.
Slicing STL files with Prusa Slicer

- Available only for "Digital Balsa and Foam" series Models.

- You need to make sure that the Profile and STL file name Ref. Code does match.
- A group of STL files can be selected and sliced into a group of objects if all of them having the same Ref. Code.
Apply only for printing with PLA : use 0.30mm Nozzle instead of 0.40mm and get benefit of up to 30% less weight ! (It might work also with 0.40mm but best with 0.30mm Nozzle)
